Retrospective 2022 🧡
New locations
This year has been full of moves and lots of work! We started with our new cocoon in Aix-en-Provence in July, second yay store and first store in the south ☀️
At the end of August, it was time for the big move to our new premises, a warm place where all the poles could be united. Logistics, trade, digital, communication, design and workshop, all in the same place: 100% short circuit!
We quickly moved on to the opening of our flagship boutique on rue des Abbesses in Paris. A big project, a lot of work, great partners and a big pride for this new emblematic store.
And last but not least, 5 minutes away from our new offices, rue de Charonne, the opening of our 4th boutique just in time for the holidays 🎄
New challenges
yay was full of ambition for 2022 and we managed to realize quite a few projects!
Among them we particularly remember our first braderie in February, where you could shop our unique archives and prototypes at very very low prices.
There was also the launch of our loyalty program, the yay club 💜 where more and more of you are passing the levels and enjoying your benefits. Stay tuned, we have a great program in store for you next year...
Then our visual identity change, our new logo, our new colors, which marked a big gap for the brand!
But our biggest challenge has been to grow our workshop to be able to make all your jewelry, always by hand, always in Paris and always with better quality.
The workshop is filling up, our oldest jewelers are becoming real experts and our new recruits are giving their all to learn in record time to make beautiful nuggets with the same care ✨
Not forgetting all the other teams who have given their all, especially at the end of this year, to satisfy you at best.
So a special big up to our creative team, who imagined 4 (great) new collections this year, to the jewelers who made thousands of jewels by hand, to our sales people who allow us to offer our jewels in partner stores all over France (and even abroad!), to the sales teams who welcome you every day in our stores, to the digital and communication team who offers you a great online experience and animations with the smallest of details, and to the logistic team who sends all your little parcels with the greatest care. And of course, special mention to our captain Julie who oversees the ship 👌
Every purchase, whether it is on our website, in our boutique or at our retailers makes us grow and pushes us to do more and better, so once again THANK YOU.
New jewelry
Once again creation has been at the heart of our missions with the release of 4 new collections.
Our spring summer collection, Zanzibar, which made us travel to the beaches of Tanzania, feet in the sand, the sound of the sea, the shells, we were there 🐚
The launch of our first wedding collection: how proud we are to see you wearing our jewelry on such an important day! Bangs of pearls in your hair or on your ears, body jewelry and long necklaces along your backs and necklines, and sometimes even our gold rings as wedding bands ❤️
Our summer capsule Corail Mania, to put some pep in our summer and with as big winners the ankle chains!
And finally, our Full Moon fall and winter collection, marked by the arrival of your new favorite jewel: the half moon ring!
The half moon ring was not the only innovation of this year, we can also find the wave ring, a little darling of this summer, our backs of earrings, which required a lot of tests to find the ideal technique, the invisible weaving, or lace yay 2.0, a technique of weaving pearls that makes the wire as discreet as possible, or the mini queen jonc, a very technical jewel with a structure made with a single wire!
New items, but still our staples like the éclat climber, the chain earrings and the éclat cross ring!
New moments
2022 was a lot of work but also a lot of laughs, sharing and kiff moments 🌈
The biggest laughs are surely those during our shootings or home shooting (one day we will make you a bloopers of the backstages!). We also think of all the team lunches in the sun, in the park and then in our new yard, the afterwork, the Halloween party, our animal friends who come to keep us company in the office and all those moments when we met you: in the store, at DIYAY, at piercing days or on the shows!
In short, only love ❤️
All this to say that we have spent a sportive and creative year with you, and we can't wait to see what 2023 will bring us!
